QR Codes Real Estate | QR Code Real Estate

QR Codes Real EstateModeling. In the real estate space real estate agents are encouraged to Model. See something that works? Don?t reinvent the wheel ? model it! Modeling is common in our country, if you see a successful product, service or idea you can bet there is another company that will copy, excuse me ? ?model? it. Look at Groupon and Daily Deals, Deal Chicken, Living Social and so on. A Good idea spawns a lot of copycats. Real Estate Marketing is no different. But before you ?model? someone else you may want to make sure that someone knows what the hell they are doing or talking about. Case in point:

If you have been following my blogs or video?s you know that I left the title industry in March to start an inbound marketing company called PRO-Found Marketing. PRO-Found helps professionals get found online. Real estate agents, title companies, title reps, attorneys, salons, etc. One of our clients called me and asked a pointed question: ?Why Don?t I Have A QR Code On My Website? ?I soon found out that our client had met with a title rep that obviously modeled someone else [as she has a QR Code on her website] and what they were doing. At first glance it might make sense to use a QR code on a website, but it?s not a good idea, here is why and what I told our client.

In her defense, the title rep thought they were giving good information to our client, probably because that is what she see?s in the field. Modeling can be good but it can be bad as well. Before you model anyone, especially another real estate agent, ask your self as a consumer [not a real estate agent] if it makes sense, if you would respond to it, if you would find value in it. If the answer is NO. . .model someone else. QR Codes For Real Estate are here to stay but you should learn when where how and how not to use them.
